Water conservation is imperative in areas severely hit by drought. The existing rivers have dried up and over the years, their catchment capacities have reduced drastically due to siltation and deposition. Some of these river beds were being used as roads!
Project Impact
NAAM has undertaken the enormous task of water conservation across Maharashtra, via long-term remedies that recharge the groundwater table, thereby mitigating the effects of the drought. With the efforts of our contributors, we have made a humble start.
