Using heavy machinery, NAAM has excavated and widened existing water bodies to improve their storage capacities, which had reduced due to siltation and deposition.
Project Impact
These initiatives have increased the capacity of the water bodies and percolation, thereby recharging the groundwater table. Now nearby villages have sufficient water for irrigation throughout the year.
