Large-scale migration was caused by drought and lack of drinking water. Meal camps were arranged by NAAM, where people got much-needed meals twice a day, from May 15th to June 15th 2016.
The location of these meal camps were: Kalewadi, Pimpri Chinchwad, Pune (1,000 people) and Government Hospital, Beed (1,000 people).
